The improved Pneuvac PF Series vacuum feeders from Spiroflow use air to convey powder materials safely, hygienically and economically over distances of up to 91.44m and at specified rates of to 5500kg/hr. By eliminating conveyor contact with the material, the Pneuvac vacuum system is less friable and keeps powder degradation to a minimum. The PF feeders allow easy provision of a complete vacuum installation on existing or new process systems.
The feeders are offered in polished stainless steel or carbon steel, in a range of diameters and filter areas to meet specific conveying capacities.
Some models have an access door to inspect feeder filters, which are easily detached for cleaning or replacement, and an optional XP vent is offered for explosion-proof requirements.
A flapper type discharge gate can be fitted, which is ideal for hopper loading applications, with cycling fill/dump conveying or equipped with a rotary airlock for continuous conveying.
Standard rotary locks giving continuous feed without the use of dump gates are also available, as often required in other types of vacuum systems.
