Inertial Aerosystems has launched an enhanced version of its market leading MTi Attitude and Heading System with wider operating ranges and software features.
Inertial Aerosystems has launched an enhanced version of its market leading MTi Attitude and Heading System with wider operating ranges and software features. The MTi measures motion and magnetic heading in three dimensions referenced to gravity and magnetic north and optimised for stability and flexibility by an internal DSP. Improved software (version 2.8.1) features include updated example codes for Labview 8, Matlab 7.1 and Excel Visual Basic.
Linear accelerometer ranges of 1.7g, 5g and 10g, and gyro rates of 150, 300 and 1200 degrees per second can be ordered in any combination.
Output is RS -232, RS485 or RS422 with a power requirement of 4.5-15VDC (can be driven off a USB port) at maximum 360mW and an operating temperature of 0 to +55 degrees C.
