Welcome to Conveyor System

Conveyor System increases bag packaging productivity

Autobag[R] Maximizer(TM) continuous motion conveyor system allows operators to control speed up to 70 batches/min and allows single operator to package mixed parts. Using sensor technology, unit is capable of detecting and counting product from 1/4-5.5 in. long and up to 3 in. wide. Unit can be used in combination with Autobag AB 180 bagging system and can also be integrated with robotics and inline printer for high productivity Print-n-Pack(TM) system.

STREETSBORO, OH - October 10, 2005 - Automated Packaging Systems, the world leader in high-reliability packaging systems, has introduced the Maximizer(TM) continuous motion conveyor system. This new conveyor is specifically designed to optimize speed and productivity of packaging operations and can effectively double the speed of hand-load operations. This unit can be easily integrated with Autobag bagging equipment and is ideal for packaging kits comprised of multiple small components.

Operators can control the speed of the Maximizer up to 70 batches per minute. Using advanced sensor technology, the Autobag Maximizer is capable of detecting and counting product from 1/4" to 5.5" in length and up to 3" in width. A single operator can package mixed parts with speed and accuracy.

When used in combination with the Autobag AB 180 bagging system, a bulk supply of product can be placed on the product tray above the conveyor, and an operator can place product(s) into one of the flight trays on the conveyor belt. The conveyor dispenses the product through a field eye detection load area that counts the product and sends it to an accumulator funnel. Each individual batch of product is then delivered to a pre-opened bag at which time the bag is sealed and dispensed while another bag is presented for loading. The sensor will not trigger the bagger to cycle if a flight tray is empty.

The Maximizer is easy to set up and easy to operate. It can be integrated with robotics and an inline printer for a high productivity Print-n-Pack(TM) system.
